Abstract
Burnout among healthcare professionals is a critical global issue, impacting individual wellbeing and patient care quality. This study explores the multifaceted role of job stress in contributing to burnout in healthcare settings. By analyzing factors such as workload, emotional demands, and the organizational environment, the research delineates the prevalence and implications of burnout. Utilizing a mixed-method approach, data was collected and analyzed from a diverse sample of healthcare workers across various specialties. The findings reveal a strong correlation between job stress and burnout, with significant variations across different roles and work environments. These results underscore the need for targeted interventions to reduce stress and promote mental health resilience among healthcare professionals. The study offers recommendations for policy and practice to enhance job satisfaction and prevent burnout. This research adds to the growing knowledge of occupational health in the healthcare sector.
