Digital Skills Effect on Digital Innovation with Mediation of Public-Private Partnerships in Horn of Africa
Abstract
This investigation investigates the association among digital e-skills, private-public partnerships (PPPs), and digital technical innovation, emphasizing the mediating function of PPPs in enhancing innovation outcomes. Utilizing a quantitative investigation approach, data were collected from a sample of 390 respondents and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software. The outcomes manifested that digital e-skills considerably contribute to digital technical innovation, with a strong direct influence observed. Also, the outcomes manifested that PPPs serve as an effective mediator, amplifying the impact of digital e-skills on innovation. The investigation highlights the interconnectedness of these constructs, manifested that firms should prioritize e-skill development while fostering collaborative partnerships to drive innovation. Overall, the investigation contributes to the understanding of how digital competencies and strategic collaborations can enhance innovation capabilities in the digital era.
