Abstract

This chapter provides a conceptual framework integrating Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Industry 5.0, and Blockchain to transform financial services. The framework focuses on operational efficiency, sustainability, and customer–centricity and is structured in Strategic, Operational, Technological, and Sustainability layers. By combining LSS with advanced technologies, the framework seeks to enhance financial institutions' adaptability to regulatory demands, digital transformation, and changing customer needs. The chapter outlines how LSS methodologies improve efficiency. Industry 5.0 fosters a human-centric approach, while Blockchain ensures transparency and security. Practical applications and theoretical contributions are discussed, offering a roadmap for improving performance while promoting financial inclusion. The chapter identifies gaps for future research, including empirical validation of the framework and exploration of its implications for sustainability and financial inclusion. This chapter is a resource for academics and practitioners seeking to transform financial services.
