Abstract

The war for talent necessitates effective workforce management. This research investigates the critical link between recruitment and retention, emphasizing a holistic approach. Aligning recruitment with organizational culture attracts individuals with both skills and cultural fit. Key components include job analysis, targeted sourcing, effective interviewing, and onboarding. A mixed-methods approach examines the relationship between recruitment, onboarding, work-life balance, compensation, development, culture, and engagement. Interviews, focus groups, and a survey of 382 individuals provide insights. Statistical tools analyze the data. A positive work environment with development opportunities fosters loyalty and productivity. This research proposes a framework for optimizing recruitment and retention, ultimately achieving sustainable talent management in today's competitive landscape.
