Abstract
Integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into healthcare offers transformative potential to address inefficiencies, disparities, and access issues, aligning with sustainable development goals (SDGs). While AI can enhance early diagnosis, resource allocation, and patient outcomes, its real-world impact is limited by socio-economic barriers, especially in low-resource settings. Most studies emphasize technological capability but overlook implementation challenges. Incorporating Lean Six Sigma (LSS) can help streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve the quality of AI-driven care delivery. This paper highlights the need for interdisciplinary research combining AI innovation with LSS methodology to enable scalable, equitable, and sustainable healthcare solutions globally.
