Abstract
Body composition analysis is crucial for health screening, talent identification, and monitoring diet and exercise in sports, especially for athletes with disabilities. This study reviews the effectiveness of techniques like anthropometrics, DEXA, air displacement plethysmography, and BIA, focusing on athletes with spinal cord injuries. Literature from databases such as Google Scholar and PubMed indicates that while traditional methods offer insights, they face challenges in accurately assessing disabled athletes. Tailored, inclusive approaches and further research are essential for optimizing Paralympic athletes' performance and well-being.
