Healing Workplace Dynamics: A Therapeutic Approach to Managing Conflict in Diverse Teams
Abstract
This study explores the integration of therapeutic conflictology in workplace settings, focusing on its impact across the healthcare, technology, and government sectors. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research combines quantitative data from organizational case studies and qualitative insights from practitioner interviews to assess the effectiveness of mindfulness training, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and emotional intelligence in conflict resolution. The findings reveal significant benefits, including enhanced emotional resilience, improved conflict resolution outcomes, reduced recurrence of disputes, and strengthened team dynamics. Case studies highlight the tailored application of therapeutic techniques, with mindfulness boosting collaboration among medical staff, cognitive-behavioral strategies enhancing problem-solving in tech teams, and therapeutic mediation fostering long-term relationship building in government agencies. The study underscores the transformative potential of addressing emotional dimensions in conflict.
