Krista Keeley (Ed.)
Krista LaRue Keeley , an award-winning innovative educator, holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Western University and a Professional Master’s Degree in Education from Queen's University. Krista currently serves as the Teaching and Design Specialist at Southeast College and works together with Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation as a Professional Learning Facilitator. There, she collaborates on designing and delivering diverse, student-centered professional learning opportunities with a focus on innovation, diversity, equity, and inclusion and course developmentand design. With a background in innovative pedagogy and a commitment to decolonization and social justice, Dr. Keeley has excelled as an educator at Regina Public Schools since 2011, receiving the STF Arbos Award in 2023. An accomplished author and presenter, she has significantly contributed to educational literature and forums, emphasizing 21st-century learning, AI-assisted educational practices, and inclusivity, as showcased in her various publications and presentations. Notably, her chapter in “Generative AI in Teaching and Learning” introducing AI-Teacher Wellness Theory (AI-TeachWell) underscores her expertise in incorporating AI technologies into educational settings, addressing the evolving landscape of teaching and learning in the 21st century.
