Abstract

Sustainability is an emerging need in all service sectors of society. The legal sector, traditionally perceived as a traditional industry, is increasingly recognizing the importance of sustainability in practices and operations. The emergence of Artificial Intelligence based techniques provides new opportunities for enhancing access to justice, enhancing efficiency, and streamline workflows. However, the conventional legal system has some constraints and limitations that can impact its effectiveness and ability to provide justice. Hence, this chapter analyzes Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as a solution to the challenges. With the help of thorough investigations, this chapter provides a comprehensive study on the worldwide use of Artificial Intelligence-based applications fostering sustainable practices within the legal industry to improve society. By integrating Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, the legal sector can move towards a more sustainable and efficient future, ensuring faster service delivery by legal professionals.
