Abstract

Inclusive education is a global imperative, It is the process of integrating individuals with disabilities into a regular classroom, and it helps reflect the world's commitment to equal educational opportunities as outlined in UNCRPD. Inclusive education requires that teachers proactively set up accessible learning environments and make adaptations to curricular content or instructional methods as needed, in order to ensure meaningful participation for all students. Despite the growing interest among scholars and educators in this field, a comprehensives study on Inclusive teaching strategies is still lacking. This Chapter addressed the dearth of literature by systematically analyzing evidence-based inclusive teaching strategies such as differentiated instruction, collaborative learning, assistive technologies, identifies barriers in implementing inclusive teaching strategies. Additionally, this chapter discusses the need for continued research in this field and creating empowering learning environments for students with disabilities
