Abstract
Rooted in principles of integrity, fairness, and respect, ethical leadership extends beyond mere compliance with laws and regulations to encompass a commitment to moral values and ethical standards in all aspects of decision-making and behavior. This approach fosters a positive organizational culture, builds trust among stakeholders, and promotes long-term success by aligning organizational practices with ethical norms.Principles of ethical leadership begin with integrity, which requires leaders to consistently adhere to a set of moral principles and demonstrate honesty in their actions and decisions. Integrity ensures that leaders act in accordance with their values, maintain transparency, and are accountable for their behavior. It involves making choices that are not only legally compliant but also ethically sound, even when such choices may be challenging or unpopular. This commitment to honesty and accountability builds trust and credibility, which are essential for effective leadership and organizational success.
