Abstract

In the modern world, due to globalization processes, people have come to realize the role and significance of cultural heritage in international relations. Cultural heritage monuments/samples, sanctuaries, hundreds of churches, monasteries, and cathedrals, dozens of museums housing many important relics, and museum reserves. Presenting the role of cultural heritage is indeed a good opportunity to increase the country's awareness at the international level. In addition, it is also important that cultural heritage monuments and sanctuaries in Georgia are distinguished by their antiquity. Promoting the protection of cultural heritage in Georgia has almost always been a concern of the authorities of all times, which is expressed in the number of necessary regulations adopted by them. However, the complexity of the situation with respect to occupied territories, as in the example of the Tskhinvali Region, is becoming more and more difficult over time.
