Creating Dynamic Spaces in Higher Education: Modern Shifts in Policy, Competencies, and Governance
Abstract
This chapter seeks to delve into the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics and Academic Integrity in Higher Education with a view of making a contribution towards guiding institutions of higher learning adjust themselves accordingly and not be overtaken or swayed by the AI wave that has already gathered momentum in the world. Institutions of higher learning should prepare their learners and the outside world of a future that will require shrunk office spaces as they know today. There is more to gain than to lose when such technologies are adopted and put into use within the confines or known rules and regulations that ensure zero compromise on quality of teaching, learning, learning outcomes and productivity.
