An Innovative Approach to Integrating AI Into Learning and Teaching at a Transnational University in China
Abstract
This chapter examines how educational developers at a transnational university supported the integration of generative AI into learning and teaching by creating a depth of integration framework. The chapter explored educational development at transnational higher education institutions and AI literacy and integration. The AI integration framework itself offers basic, intermediate and advanced levels in order to better guide staff according to their AI literacy and pedagogical confidence. The chapter closes with a discussion of the ethics of AI in education and how this effects transnational institutions.
