Syed Ali Raza
is a distinguished academician and researcher associated with a leading multidisciplinary university in Pakistan. As a Professor and Director of Academics, Research & Publications, he has played a pivotal role in transforming the university into a research-oriented institution. His scholarly excellence in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Economics, and Business Management, has earned him recognition as one of Asia's Top 15 Scientists in Accounting and Finance and has consistently been recognized as one of the world's top 2% scientists in the field of Business & Management, according to the rankings compiled by Stanford University. His impactful research work, published in esteemed journals, has garnered over 8,500 citations. Under his leadership, the university has substantially increased its research output, with an annual count of 356 Scopus-indexed publications and a cumulative total of 1,349 publications in the past five years. This outstanding research has amassed a citation count of 15,439. Furthermore, Dr. Raza has successfully secured research funding amounting to approximately PKR Rs. 65 million. He has also been invited as a keynote speaker at multiple national and international conferences, seminars, and workshops. He is also the founder of 4 nationally recognized research journals and serves as an editor and reviewer for many reputed journals across the globe. Beyond research, Prof. Dr. Raza has implemented innovative strategies as an academic administrator. He has developed curriculum aligned with educational standards, implemented faculty development programs, and integrated technology into the learning environment. His vision for internationalization has led to partnerships with renowned universities, providing global learning opportunities. He is a visiting professor at Roma Tre University, Italy and an honorary visiting professor at UCSI University, Malaysia. He is an actively member of the Prime Minister of Pakistan’s Ehsaas Program, serves on many academic committees, editorial boards, and professional organizations, and has received multiple awards for his exceptional achievements.
Chin-Hong Puah (Ed.)
Chin Hong Puah
is a Professor cum Chief Executive Officer at the UNIMAS Business School, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). He obtained his PhD degree majoring in Financial Economics. Puah has been actively involved in Financial Economics, Macroeconomics and Business Economics areas in the past 20 years. Until now, he has received more than 60 research grants and consultancy projects totaling amount more than RM12 million. He has supervised more than 100 postgraduate students at Master and PhD levels (including CMBA students). At present, he has published more than 140 refereed journal articles in various international journals. Based on his excellent performance, he had received some significant academic awards from UNIMAS which include Best Researcher Award, Young Researcher Award, Anugerah Ahli Akademik Harapan, Highest Impact Factor Journal Article Award (Social Sciences Category) and Best Teaching Award. In addition, he also received several Best Paper Awards and Gold Medal Awards in international conferences and research exhibitions..
