Abstract

This study investigated social support and the psychosocial adjustment of internally displaced students. It used the correlational survey research design with a purposive sample of 236 students. A questionnaire was employed to collect data from the students. Data gathered was statistically analyzed using descriptive statistics while the Spearman rank-order correlation coefficient was used to test the research hypotheses. The findings of the study indicated that there was a very significant and positive relationship between peer support and psychosocial adjustment by internally displaced students. Findings equally affirmed that there was a very significant and positive relationship between counselors' support and psychosocial adjustment by internally displaced students.
