This chapter explores how problem statements are framed, focusing on their relevance on Africanization in education. By addressing the specific challenges encountered in educational research and practice and embracing indigenous African viewpoints, the researcher aims to develop solutions that are more attuned to the diverse requirements of scholars in African universities. Through a thorough review of existing literature, this chapter aims to highlight the importance of well-written problem statements in guiding research efforts, and the potential of Africanization to enhance educational practices.
