The Sustainable Development of Young People's Psychological Well-Being: Design Thinking Mindset as a Prevention
Abstract
This study investigates the relationship between design thinking mindset and the psychological well-being of young people in the UAE. In addition, it explores how developing a design thinking mindset can be a psychological prevention to promote sustainable well-being in young people. A quantitative approach was deployed using a cross-sectional study. The participants were young undergraduate students at a federal institute in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The study's findings suggest that developing a design thinking mindset can act as a psychological prevention to promote the sustainable development of young people's well-being. The study also found a strong positive correlation between design thinking mindsets and psychological well-being. The findings have important implications for educators, policymakers, and practitioners interested in promoting sustainable well-being in young people.
