Abstract

The paper analyses the documents published in the prominent journal ”The International Journal of Climatology” from 2011 to 2020 using scientometric parameters. Data was retrieved from Scopus data. This analysis covers mainly the kinds of publications, authorship and collaboration patterns, bibliographic coupling, subject wise distribution of articles, citation analysis, forms, year wise distribution of cited journals etc. The analysis indicates 98.36% of publications are articles. Climate Change, Climatology, Rain, Climate models are mostly used keywords. Majority of publications are from China followed by the USA, UK and India. And 47.28% publications are published as open access. Our study will give a broad range of perceptions for upcoming researchers by tracking the trends.
