Abstract

Social media today is incredibly influential and impactful. Having a pen to write with and paper to print on isn't sufficient if you're constantly weighing the advantages of social media. Meanwhile, studies carried out by various scholars demonstrate that social media can inflict significant and countless harm on large groups of people. Research indicates that 70 out of every 100 researchers are keen on exploring the negative impacts of these platforms. Although social media significantly contributes to organizing individuals in India, sharing vital information, educating, guiding, motivating, and influencing the community, its importance cannot be underestimated. Social media is essential in driving an educational, social, industrial, and political transformation. Platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, and others are well-known among community members today and are widely utilized every day.This research examined the impact of social media on individuals within the community.
