Reverse Logistics Analysis: Enhancing Small Business Performance Perspectives
Abstract
Logistics strategies involve practices backed up with certain strategies that can yield substantial growth in revenue and ecological preservation. Despite this potential, many small business units overlook the significance of reverse logistics, warranting further investigation. The research carried out by the authors assesses reverse logistics' impact on the enhancement of environmental and quality conditions of the small plants with a specific focus on the Visakhapatnam district in Andhra Pradesh. Data collection involved both primary and secondary sources, targeting manufacturing sectors within the district through random sampling. Analysis comprised descriptive statistics to elucidate various aspects of reverse logistics, followed by ML applications with confusion matrix, ROC, PCA, and correlation, as well as the inferential statistics such as factor and regression analysis to identify significant variables with its impact. By exploring the untapped potential of reverse logistics, this study underscores its role in driving revenue growth and environmental sustainability.
