Introduction to CT Imaging for Personalized Medicine and Its Impact on Patients
Abstract
Computed tomography (CT) imaging has become a vital instrument in personalized medicine, allowing accurate diagnosis, customized treatment planning, and enhanced patient outcomes. New developments in AI, radiomics, and 3D imaging have further maximized its use in different medical fields, ranging from oncology and cardiology to neurology and orthopedics. With advancing technology, the integration of CT imaging with personalized medicine will become more sophisticated, enhancing clinical decision-making and healthcare delivery. With the resolution of current challenges and exploration of future innovations, CT imaging will remain a cornerstone of modern personalized healthcare. Raw patient data employed in this research was sourced from Jinnah Medical and Dental College and approved by the Sohail Trust Hospital Ethical Review Board. The dataset is made up of de-identified patient data that includes CT imaging to enable comprehensive insight into the use of CT imaging in personalized medicine, including oncology, cardiology, neurology, and orthopedic diseases.
