Enhancing Employee Well-Being Through AI Solutions
Abstract
This chapter explores the transformative role of artificial intelligence in enhancing employee well-being, focusing on its applications in mental health monitoring, productivity optimization, and work-life balance facilitation. As organizations increasingly adopt AI-driven tools to foster healthier and more sustainable work environments, the chapter examines how technologies such as machine learning, sentiment analysis, and biometric monitoring are being deployed to detect early signs of stress, burnout, and disengagement. It also explores the use of AI for individualized development trajectories and job satisfaction through adaptive learning and performance feedback systems. Although the potential of AI to enhance human resource practices is considerable, the chapter also discusses urgent ethical issues such as privacy, algorithmic bias, and psychological surveillance.
