Abstract
The purpose of this study is to look into how government policies affect the development of public-private partnerships (PPPs) for low-carbon, green infrastructure in India. The research will provide a thorough examination of current regulations pertaining to waste management, green buildings, renewable energy, and sustainable transportation in order to assess how well they work to encourage private sector cooperation and investment. The research aims to identify opportunities, problems, and best practices for strengthening the role of government in promoting PPPs for sustainable infrastructure development through the analysis of case studies and interviews with important stakeholders. This will furnish policymakers, practitioners, and scholars with significant perspectives to propel India's shift towards a low-carbon economy. This research intends to inform the creation of more effective strategies for promoting sustainable infrastructure expansion and expediting India's transition to a greener future by examining the interplay between government policies and PPPs.
