Elections in Neutrosophic Key
Abstract
This paper explores the innovative application of neutrosophic logic to the analysis of Romanian electoral discourse for 2024. Neutrosophic logic, which integrates indeterminacy alongside classical and fuzzy logic. The study introduces (t, i, f)-Neutrosophic Elections Structures, a novel concept for evaluating election context, including voter behavior, by combining insights from linguistics, sociology, cognitive psychology, and communication studies. By modeling voter preferences, candidate qualities, and election outcomes, neutrosophic sets address the inherent uncertainties and contradictions in political behavior and public opinion. Romania's proportional voting system and the evolving electoral landscape, including the participation of independent candidates and multiple ballots, provide a rich context for this analysis. The findings suggest that neutrosophic logic can enhance the accuracy and reliability of electoral discourse analysis, shaping the nation's political trajectory and contributing to more informed decision-making.
