Abstract
Information Security is the modern day threats that are significant in the areas of the library and information centre. The paper aims to contribute in the areas of digital security with a slant to the information security in library and information centre. The information security concepts along with the issues of such security in the libraries are detailed here. It was revealed that the information security in libraries can be important in the present day approach in the university libraries.
