Abstract

ChatGPT has emerged as a prominent topic of discussion among management educators, primarily owing to its revolutionary capacity to revolutionize the process of conducting and evaluating assessments. In contrast to conventional educational tools that leave a digital trail during their usage, ChatGPT possesses remarkable capabilities that render its application nearly undetectable. This poses a complex challenge for management educators who wish to embrace this technology to remain current while fostering genuine learning experiences. Consequently, there is an urgent need for management educators to swiftly formulate guidelines pertaining to the utilization of ChatGPT and other upcoming generative artificial intelligence tools, given their user-friendly nature and cost-effectiveness. The conceptual study examines challenges and underscores practical and managerial consequences that underscore the urgent requirement to reassess current educational methodologies as a means of assimilating advantageous technological novelties.
