Abstract
This case study examines Beisen Holdings Limited's evolution as a pioneer in China's Human Capital Management (HCM) industry. Beginning with its inception in 2002, Beisen strategically embraced cloud computing and advanced AI technologies to offer integrated HCM solutions. The study traces Beisen's transition from software as a service (SaaS) to platform as a service (PaaS), culminating in the development of iTalent X—a comprehensive HCM platform. Key innovations include AI-driven recruitment, talent management, and performance analytics tools, which have reshaped HR practices for over 6,000 enterprises, including 70% of the Fortune 500 in China. Through detailed analysis of market dynamics, technological advancements, and socio-economic effects like the pandemic and demographic shifts, the case underscores Beisen's leadership and its transformative impact on the HCM landscape.
