Conceptualization of a Secure Agent Based Network Management System
Abstract
As configuration of network services is faced with wide-spread deployment and security problems requiring considerable human efforts and involvement, Plug-and-Play (PnP) services become a central concern. So, it is necessary to design secure protocol using the elliptic curve based modified multi-signcryption for the purpose of efficiency. For scalability, the paper presents a PnP protocol framework that is secure for network configurations that provides user authentication, integrity and confidentiality of delivery agents. And, we propose an implementation that is practical even on a minimal hardware that demonstrates it can be used for building higher level protocols. The paper concludes with evaluation and flexibility of the designed framework for network management purpose.
