International Journal of Agent Technologies and Systems (IJATS)
DescriptionThe International Journal of Agent Technologies and Systems (IJATS) focuses on all aspects of agents and multi-agent systems, with a particular emphasis on how to modify established learning techniques and create new learning paradigms to address the many challenges presented by complex real-world problems. The journal serves as an inclusive forum for discussion of theoretical and practical issues of intelligent agent technologies and multi-agent systems while bringing together scientists from different areas of computer science as well as researchers from various fields studying similar concepts.

MissionThe mission of the International Journal of Agent Technologies and Systems (IJATS) is to disseminate and discuss high quality research on emerging technologies and successful systems based on the agent and multiagent paradigms. It features innovative findings from various fields of science, engineering, and technology. IJATS is an interdisciplinary journal that brings together researchers from academia, industry, and the government to discuss conceptual issues and implementation of issues using the agent approach in solving real-life problems. As a medium of communication among those researchers and practitioners with interest, the journal explores the benefits of the concepts, simulations, constructions, and applications of agency theories beyond disciplinary boundaries.

Testimonials and Reviews"This journal provides an opportunity to publish novel results on interesting
phenomena of emergent behavior and self-organization in population of agents, and it
motivates us to deliberately design new forms of artificial intelligence, embedded in
virtual or physical agents, that may eventually be brought to coexistence with biological life."
- Lubica Benuskova, the author of the successful book "Computational Neurogenetic Modeling"
