Due to the journal’s coverage of challenges, opportunities, problems, trends, and solutions encountered by both scholars and practitioners in the field of information technology management, IRMJ has been accepted into prestigious indices, most notably Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index®, Scopus®, Compendex®, and more. Along with their emphasis on the managerial and organizational facets of information technology resources management, articles published in IRMJ deal with a vast number of issues concerning usage, failure, success, policies, strategies, and applications of information technology in organizations. The articles are written by scholars and industry professionals from more than 40 countries.

MissionThe mission of Information Resources Management Journal (IRMJ) is to be instrumental in the improvement and development of the theory and practice of information resources management, to educate organizations on how they may benefit from their information resources, and to discuss the tools utilized to gather, process, disseminate, and manage these valuable resources. The journal publishes original material concerned with all aspects of information resources management, managerial and organizational applications, as well as implications of information technology. The journal invites manuscript submissions between 3,000 and 10,000 words that are deeply grounded in the indexed literature from both scholars and practitioners interested in advancing the theoretical and practical development, implementation, and management of information resources within organizations.
Additionally, IRMJ strives to help our authors perfect their work and get their manuscript published with the help of the double-blind, peer-review feedback provided by members of our Editorial Review Board (ERB). Like the authors the IRMJ publishes, the ERB members come out of most every country in the world and are themselves acknowledged leaders and researchers with promising and distinguished careers in industry and academia.
