Abstract

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) Technologies in Intelligent Transport System.Presently, VR and AR technologies play a significant role in enhancing the transport system. Their applications include traffic simulation, route planning, and driver training. Furthermore, AR-enhanced mappings and navigation systems also boosted the efficiency of commuters through trusty Return to Base. Applications of virtual reality allow engineers to create planning for the smart infrastructure by embedding future transport projects within the built environment. Out of these technologies, semiconductor and wireless technologies form the foundation for vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication, the cornerstone of intelligent traffic management systems through seamless data exchange. The fusion of VR with superbusiness forms of AR and ITS then leads into adaptive and interactive and smart transportation systems which were also sustainable transport solutions to urban mobility challenges.
