The Role of Transformational Leaders in Enhancing Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Entrepreneurship: A Case Study Approach to the Green Leadership Paradigm
Abstract
The growing environmental and social issues have significantly impacted the business ecosystem. This has urged organizations to revisit their strategies and incorporate sustainability into their core operations. Regardless, this transformation requires a leadership style that addresses economic objectives and adopts the broader goals of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainable entrepreneurship. Moreover, the author offers practical insights from three real-time case analyses into the leadership practices that encourage organizations to execute their sustainability objectives. The author aimed to explore the role of transformational leaders in enabling CSR and sustainable entrepreneurship within organizations with three hypotheses. The qualitative case study methodology was used. The research contributes to the expansive discourse on how leadership can shift and encourage sustainable development. The results delivered valuable insights for academia, business practitioners, and policymakers curious about promoting a sustainable and socially responsible business ecosystem.
