Abstract
In the wake of escalating environmental worries, superior technologies like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning have emerged as powerful allies in monitoring and controlling pollution. This chapter delves into the transformative capability of AI and ML inside the realm of environmental science, focusing on their software in detecting, analyzing, and mitigating pollution. We start by means of exploring the mixing of AI and ML in environmental tracking structures. These systems leverage sensor networks and satellite imagery to gather real-time air, water, and soil information. AI algorithms decorate the precision and performance of statistics series, permitting the identity of pollutant assets with remarkable accuracy. Case research highlights hit implementations, along with AI-driven air exceptional monitoring stations and ML fashions predicting water infection styles. Ethical considerations and demanding situations are addressed, such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the need for transparent AI systems.
