Abstract
The concept of the Social Internet of Things (SIoT) represents a transformative leap in the integration of networked devices with social networking principles, This approach, while innovative, primarily emphasizes operational efficiency and data collection without deeply considering the social dynamics that influence human-device interactions. SIoT, however, introduces a new layer by integrating social behaviors and relationships into the IoT framework, creating a more interactive and responsive network of connected devices. At its core, SIoT leverages the principles of social networking to enhance the functionality of connected devices. It draws from social network theories, treating devices as social entities that can interact with one another in ways similar to human social interactions. This approach not only facilitates enhanced communication between devices but also enables them to make decisions based on social contexts and relationships. .
