Abstract
With the potential to transform judicial bodies from the courts to the ICJ, AI promises greater efficiency, accessibility, and equity in justice. This study examines how AI is revolutionizing judicial practices, focusing on its impact on case management, legal research, and decision-making. It emphasizes the extrapolated advantages these AI technologies can confer, allowing for predictive analytics and natural language processing, streamlining practices, and increasing accessibility through which various populations may benefit from the justice system. The adoption of AI brings with it ethical dilemmas that need to be addressed, such as algorithmic bias, transparency in the process of decision-making, and the requirement for human intervention. The complexities of this moment demand careful navigation, as this work towards a future where that technology no longer hampers justice but bolsters global judicial systems.
