Organization of Queuing Analysist of Complex Systems
Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to present approaches and solutions in organizing the study of complex systems using queuing systems (QSs) and networks (QNs). For the realization of this, specific problems are presented and their resolution is proposed. In the first part, the object of the model study is a multicomputer system with a cube architecture. A graph formalization of the inter-process communications, realized through message exchange between processor nodes, is presented, which is used for development of a queuing model of processor node. The second part is dedicated to priority QSs whit discussion of various applications of queuing modeling and presentation of concrete examples for single-channel priory QS and for priority multiprocessor system with two processors modeled by queuing multi-channel QS and investigated by using Markov chain with continuous time. The third part deals with QNs as combinations of different QSs. The stochastic workload modeling is the object of the last part.
