Abstract
Music significantly influences our emotions and overall well-being in daily life. This proposed system seeks to revolutionize the music listening experience by harnessing the power of cognitive psychology, AI, and machine learning through advanced facial emotion detection. By integrating a facial recognition API, the system captures and analyzes the user's facial expressions in real time, accurately mapping these emotions to corresponding music genres, playlists, or individual tracks. The implementation follows a logical framework that connects emotion detection directly with music selection, featuring a state-of-the-art music player specifically designed to intuitively interpret human emotions using a web camera interface. The ultimate objective of this system is to enhance the user's mood and emotional well-being by curating music that aligns perfectly with the emotional cues derived from their facial expressions. This approach merges cognitive psychology with cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies, offering an innovative, emotionally intelligent music experience.
