Navigating the Ethereal Waters: Establishing Accountability in the Autonomous Age of Generative AI
Abstract
This chapter explores the critical need for robust accountability management in the rapidly evolving domain of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI). It examines the complexities and ethical implications of AI-driven decisions and content creation, highlighting the challenges posed by increased autonomy and sophisticated AI outputs. A holistic GenAI accountability framework is introduced. By analyzing ethical dilemmas, legal implications, and societal impacts, the chapter underscores the importance of transparency, fairness, and adaptability in AI governance.
