Abstract

This chapter discusses and explains the mixed method research approach being used and outlines the rationale for the adoption. The study was conducted in 8 stages. Each stage explains how the samples were collected to adequately represent the PM practitioner population in terms of the industries, commerce or government departments and age groups they represent. It also elaborated the new model to be functionally more robust and user friendly or intuitive to use to attract user buy-in. Based on the analysis, the most desirables attributes of PM3 were identified, in terms of the maturity level description, maturity growth path and practicality of use.
