Abstract
This chapter addresses the educational perspective of students from minority groups, specifically the Roma population. By combining theoretical frameworks, empirical evidence, and pedagogical practices, it examines solutions through changes at every segment and level of the entire education system: from appropriate legislation, curricula and syllabi, instructional Content, teaching processes, and learning strategies, to reforms in teacher education. These changes should be marked by strengthening education for democracy and citizenship in a multinational society of equal opportunities, fostering education on children's rights, and enhancing student participation. The proposed solutions are oriented toward the process of developing intercultural competencies.
