Green Hydrogen: The Next Frontier in Clean Energy
Abstract
The complexity of global environmental processes and the necessity for sustainable development make green hydrogen a key technology for decarbonization. The chapter begins with a synthesis of literature on the properties of green hydrogen production. In addition, the argument compares PEM and Alkaline Water Electrolyzers and discusses recent initiatives to improve performance and lower costs. The chapter weaves these perspectives into a coherent narrative that suggests green hydrogen may be the key to a successful energy transition. The chapter informs researchers, policymakers, and industry actors about green hydrogen's technological, economic, and regulatory framework, helping to build a clean, secure global energy system. This extensive study examines green hydrogen capacity and future enhancements that could change global energy strategies. Thus, further research and collaboration are needed to overcome these obstacles and realize the sustainable future of green hydrogen.
