Abstract
Gamification is the process of incorporating game design elements, mechanics, and ideas into non-game environments to encourage participation, improve learning, and create engagement. This chapter investigates gamification's potential as a regenerative tool in the field of cultural heritage protection and interpretation. This chapter describes the regenerative approaches of gamification in tourism and its implementation for protecting culture and heritage in the developing nations like India, which has rich diversities of art, cultures, beliefs, festivals, values, and cuisines.
