Abstract

In light of the issue of growing waste, worldwide a concept was developed and created, new technology to slow down the process. Waste comes from a variety of sources, including municipal solid waste (such as food wastes, paper, cardboard, plastics, and textiles) and industrial garbage (such as ashes, hazardous wastes, and materials used in building and demolition). The search terms for contemporary waste management technology were used to perform this investigation. This book chapter discusses a variety of contemporary approaches that have evolved recently and how waste management has been affected by them. In light of the circular economy, it also addresses the difficulties and potential paths for waste management in the future.
