Abstract
The objective of this study was to examine the impact of Educational Programmes on Solid Waste Management Practices in Rural Areas. This study utilized case studies conducted in rural districts of India to ascertain the strategies employed in managing solid waste. Case studies are valuable tools for comprehending the efficacy of educational programs in advancing sustainable waste management practices in rural India. This chapter focuses on examining the significance of educational programs in the implementation of solid waste management practices in rural communities. Research has revealed that solid waste management plays a crucial role in rural regions and has a substantial influence on promoting sustainable waste management practices in rural communities in India. The results will offer significant knowledge regarding the impact of education on the promotion of sustainable waste management practices. Additionally, they will provide guidance for the development of efficient educational initiatives that are specifically designed to meet the requirements of rural communities.
