Enhancing Leadership and Management Research Skills in Namibia's Agro-Education: An Evaluative Mixed Methods Approach
Abstract
This paper examines the enhancement of leadership and management research skills in Namibia's agro-education sector, focusing on digital agro-processing transformation. It identifies gaps in research skills, curriculum, and interdisciplinary collaboration that hinder digital adoption. Using a mixed-methods approach, the paper explores how research designs like convergent parallel, explanatory sequential, exploratory sequential, and embedded can address these challenges. Findings suggest the need for specialized training, curriculum updates, and institutional support for digital initiatives. Recommendations include fostering collaboration, integrating digital leadership modules, and securing funding for research. In conclusion, improving research skills is crucial to empowering leaders for successful digital transformation in agro-processing and agro-education.
