Abstract
As the digital landscape evolves, the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and education is reshaping the way citizens interact with technology and information. This chapter addresses the critical need for digital literacy and the preparation of individuals to engage with AI in ethical and privacy-conscious ways. The chapter begins by examining the concept of digital citizenship and its relevance in an AI-driven society, emphasizing the importance of equipping citizens with the skills to navigate and contribute to the digital world responsibly. The core of the chapter explores the integration of AI in educational systems, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges it presents.
