Employment of AI in Higher Education
Abstract
AI deployment in higher learning is consequently changing the dynamics in the functioning mode of institutions and modes of delivery of knowledge. This chapter covers the prospects, issues and strategies associated with adoption of AI in an environment of higher learning and teaching: its use, deployment, and promotion. Technologies powered by AI have been adopted in higher learning institutions to improve the management functions interference such as admission, timetabling and assessment. University education however should create AI setups where all students are accorded the necessary consideration. It has intended to effectively raise awareness to the educational leaders and policymakers on how to use AI for enhancing school development and on the same note how to minimize on the risks that may arise because of the technology. The general aim therefore is to improve, equitable and personalized teaching and learning conditions that will help extend the capacity of institutions sustainably through the advancement of technology.
