Abstract
This chapter focuses on investigating digital intelligence within supply chain management, with a focus on economic diversification and sustainability. The importance of technology and innovation in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of a supply chain system is widely studied and analyzed. However, intricated relationships and the subsequent impact on economic diversification and sustainability need more focus in the form of identification of key enablers, barriers and research lacunas. This study addresses this gap in the existing literature by focussing on an extensive scoping review related to this research area. For this, 209 documents were selected and reviewed through a framework-based process. The findings resulted in a conceptual framework detailing the different aspects of the research topic and the future research propositions in this domain area.
