Deep Learning Techniques in Digital Forensics
Abstract
As cybercrime becomes more intricate and sophisticated, the field of digital forensics faces challenges that traditional techniques struggle to address. Deep learning, a subset of machine learning has revolutionized various fields by enabling computers to learn from vast amounts of data and perform complex tasks with remarkable accuracy. Deep learning characterized by its use of neural networks with multiple layers, has shown great promise in enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and scope of forensic investigations. This chapter explores the transformative role of deep learning in digital forensics, highlighting its applications, advantages, challenges, and potential future prospects.
